Arrived at this old barn restaurant to discover inside the most incredible dining experience! Fantastic staff. Exceptional food! Perfect wine! Extremely helpful waiters who helped us choose the meat. This was brought out to our table raw which was then bbq’d inside! Absolutely brilliant!

This is an amazing foodie experience. Very traditional cuisine matched with service that is warm and friendly with a real family feel. Highly recommend if you are in the Desenzano locality.

We ended up in this place by accident since they closed the restaurant we were going to for lunch. Our server David was amazing, he recommended the right amount of food and the right kind of meat. Train meats from all over Europe was a phenomenal experience.

Fantastic place. Amazing and abundant grilled meat, great appetizers (try the polenta with gorgonzola), good pasta, great wine selection, lovely atmosphere, and quick and good service. We are so much - for an excellent price. Try the horse diaphragm!

This was kind of a bet, it was recommended by some fellow travellers, but it was really by far one of the best restaurants we have visited in Italy. It's an old farm/barn still pretty original but brushed up. Most guests are local Italians and the Carvalho is really good. Incredibly charming and Italy from its best side.
Super friendly staff! The meat was SOOO JUICY! Suggested! The price / quality ratio is really good.

I do not eat red meat and ate the chicken - which was absolutely delicious. The family had the Bisteca Florentina which looked and tasted incredible!!

The diverse selection of beef allowed us to find the best steak for flavour and texture. The Steak Fiorentine was excellent, Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor—a must-try for any steak enthusiast!
The antipasti platter introduced us to regional flavours. To end our meal, the desserts—whether classic tiramisu or the chocolate salami —left us satisfied.

This restaurant was amazing! Incredible food for great prices. Nice portions, too. The horse steak is excellent. My wife tried the diaphragm on a recommendation, and it was excellent as well. The potatoes and polenta were perfect. Hearty local food made to perfection.

The only place I know where you can get a cavallo stake (grilled horse stake). Very delicious! Italian authentic food is perfect, great choice of Italian wines (I recommend their housewine, btw).
